Our Mission

Exposing & training urban region youth in the "path-2-college" and health benefits of fishing, boating, hunting, archery & conservation activities.

Our training activities are designed to provide youth and their supporting adults with an opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of fishing, boating, warm water aquatic ecosystems, wildlife management, habitat conservation and archery through instructional training and experiential activities.  We seek to improve the quality of life of youth and adults together, through exposure to the outdoors and engagement of discussions in peaceful outdoor environments.  Our activities are designed for elementary, middle, high school, college students and adults through recreational, leadership and life-skills training.

Our activities utilize the diverse outdoor and educational resources of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, surrounding states and parks affiliated with our Mid-Atlantic state agencies.

Thanks for all the continued support from our hosting of the 2014 Delaware River Bassmaster Elite Series Tournament!  We hope to bring it back to the Delaware River in the near future and join our efforts to support this!  Send us a note at:  HealthyWaters@MidAtlanticYouthAnglers.com  We couldn’t say it any better than this:

"I can't really explain what all happened in Philly on the Delaware River. I think it was the greatest fishing event I have ever attended and that could include Classic's as well. It really was because of the people from that area and I guess you just had to be there. Sure glad I got to experience it and thank you Philadelphia"....Jerry McKinnis, President of Bassmaster
